  • What is the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance?
    Insurance against all material damage. The customer is released from any liability for damage. The above only applies if the rental vehicle is used on paved roads and is not driven under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants.
  • What is the Full Damage Waiver (FDW) insurance?
    It is a special full insurance which covers damages caused to cars, i.e. glass, fire and engine damages.
  • What is the Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)?
    It is only for passengers and driver.
  • How much does the Public Liability (PL) insurance cover?
    Up to 1.500.000 EUR for person and up to 1.500.000 EUR for damaged properties.
  • What is the Theft Protection (TP) insurance?
    In the case the car is stolen, the customer is relieved from the responsibility. Any stolen belongings in the interior of the car (eg. cameras, travel bags or cell-phones) are not covered by any insurance.
  • What are the customer service hours?
    Our customer service hours are from 07:30 to 23:00 for customers service at our service stations Heraklion Airport, Heraklion Port and Chania Airport. Outside of this time frame there is a charge of 30 EUR.
  • Is there any charge for pick-up delays?
    If the pick-up delay occurs outside of the customer services hours, there is a charge of 30 EUR.
  • Is there an age requirement?
    The renter and any associated drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age at time of rental for all car categories. For specific car groups (F, H, I, K) a minimum of 25 years of age is mandatory.
  • Payment Terms
    In order to finalize a reservation, a 30% prepayment is required within the next 3 business days. The rest of the amount can be paid in cash or by credit/debit card at the beginning of the rental.   • Can I cancel my reservation?
    You can cancel your patrially prepaid reservation without any cost up to 48 hours prior to the rental pick up time. Once cancelled, we will refund you the amount paid as a prepayment within 5 business days. If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the rental pick up time, the prepayment will not be refunded. In case you do not cancel and the vehicle is not picked up on the arranged date and time, the prepayment will not be refunded.
  • Can we cancel your reservation?
    In the event of property damage, natural disasters, effects of pandemics or bankruptcy, we are obliged to cancel your reservation within a reasonable period of time.
  • How much does the child seat/booster cost?
    Child seats and booster are free of charge.
  • How many additional drivers can I add to my car rental reservation?
    Two additional drivers can be registered without any additional charge.
  • Where do you deliver and collect the rental vehicles?
    We can deliver and collect vehicles at Heraklion Airport/Port and Chania Airport.
  • Do I get a road map?
    Upon delivery, you will get a fully detailed road map of Crete free of charge.
  • What is the fuel policy?
    The renter has to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as delivered.
  • Do I get a vehicle that is fully checked?
    Our team consists of well trained engineers and personnel that have checked the vehicle to be delivered in perfect condition.
  • What do I need to do in the event of accident or damage?
    In the event of damages to your vehicle or an accident, you should: Call automattis team +30 6942 553658. We will give you the best possible assistance.
  • When do I get a car replacement?
    ​In a case of breakdown of the vehicle or an accident, the car will be replaced within 24 hours from the time the breakdown or accident has been reported.
  • I lost the car key, what do I need to do?
    Firstly, you have to contact automattis team as soon as possible. We will follow up with instructions and solution. The renter is liable for the cost of key replacement which have been lost or damaged.
  • What should I do if I leave something in the vehicle?
    Firstly, you have to contact automattis team as soon as possible. The Company does not accept liability for any items inside the car, it is the customers responsibility to leave the car empty. Any valuable goods left in the car are done so at the customers own risk. But, we make every effort to hold items that are left behind.
  • How long is a car rental offer valid?
    The car rental offer is valid as long as there is availability and maximum for 7 days.

Les réservations sont soumises à un groupe de voitures spécifique, qui comprend généralement plusieurs modèles de voitures différents avec des caractéristiques similaires.
